Who is Eligible to sit for this exam?

mbbs with 1 year house job in any institution recognized by pmdc and cpsp.

Format of MCPS

The MCPS examination has 2 parts:

• Theory (two essay type papers)
• Clinical and viva voce

Only those candidates who qualify in theory will be called for clinical and viva examination.

• seats easily available(as compared to FCPS
• designation of specialist

cons:

• less worth than FCPS
• no teaching post in medical colleges
• less worth against foreign qualifications even in pakistan.
• not recognized worldwide (you have to give registration papers/liscencing exams)
